We have dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, and personalities available for adoption. From wiggling puppies to gentle seniors, there are so many amazing dogs at Barb's Dog Rescue who are looking for their forever homes.
Every dog in our care has a story. Some were lovingly surrendered by families who could not care for them. Many of our dogs were homeless, living on the streets. And sadly, many have survived abuse or painful injuries. Each is looking for someone to love them.

Our adoption fees typically range from $200-$300 depending on the dog's age, breed, and medical needs. This fee helps cover the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and other medical care the dog has received while in our care.
Yes, we can arrange transportation for adopted dogs to various locations in the US and Canada. Transportation fees vary depending on the destination. Please contact us for more information about our transportation options.
All of our dogs come spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. They also come with health certificates and any medical records we have for them. Additionally, we provide post-adoption support to help with the transition.
Yes, we encourage potential adopters to meet the dogs they're interested in adopting. You can visit our rescue in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico, or attend one of our adoption events in Arizona. If you're unable to visit in person, we can arrange video calls to introduce you to the dog.
We understand that sometimes, despite the best intentions, an adoption may not work out. We ask that you return the dog to us rather than rehoming on your own so we can find the right match for the dog. Our adoption contract requires that any dog adopted from us be returned to our care if you can no longer keep them.
