VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are essential for us to be able to provide care and attention to the dogs at Barb's Dog Rescue.

There are many ways to volunteer, allowing you to select the one that best fits your interests and talents. Opportunities include:

  • Socialization: Young puppies need human interaction to prepare them for adoption. You can help by spending just a couple hours a week holding, petting, and playing with these pups.
  • Care and Feeding: Provide nightly food and care to our 200 adoptable dogs on site. We need a minimum of three volunteers each night, 365 days a year.
  • Foster: Foster homes are critical. Fostering puppies ensures their ability to survive until they make the transition from formula to solid food. Foster homes are also needed for dogs recovering from surgery or injury.
  • Additional Opportunities: Website maintenance, office help, and more.
